Zac Efron menyatakan bahwa ia sedang mempersiapkan untuk membuat album rekaman solo suatu saat. Tapi untuk saat ini Zac masih berkonsentrasi dalam dunia akting.
Bintang film "17 Again" ini mendadak terkenal saat bernyanyi dalam film High School Musical dan bilang: "I’ve always been a fan of music. I love it.
“It’s my life, but at the same time, it’s not necessarily my passion to an extent where I want to create it and put it out there.
“I think that potentially it could be someday.
“I think the day I could make an album is the day I could write and produce it on my own terms and when I have the skills and wisdom to do it.”
